2 : The engineering seaman that survived the boat attack gathers parts to recreate the anomoly in a subway track.
3 : Tim Matheson shot the episode. Decided to give the whole thing a violent shakey cam feel. They cut around it.

Realizing that it was highly unpractical to shoot in an actual subway station we headed down to the LA Harbor to a location that with some work could double as a train station.
