Dr. Dolittle 2

Dog Dialogue:  Bandit  "Hi.  My name is Bandit... snif... snif... and I'm a stray."
Crowd:  "That's ok.  We're all strays"

Sheep dog tries to support Bandit.
Sheep Dialogue:  "Just one paw at a time bandit"

CU hound dog
Dialogue: "Uh... that'd be Rusty, Rusty's a watch dog"

CU Rusty as he turns toward camera
Dialogue:  "This better be important"

Male turtle talks to Dolittle "Oh ya, what do they do"

Male Turtle moves towards female "Huh, coming at you baby"

Alligator speaks towards camera, " See what I'm doing is.  Allowing Steve to think that I don't know he's back there."

Alligator speaks towards camera "...bite his arm arm off.   Hee hee hee" 

Monkey "Those teenagers, Doc, they can drive a man to drink."

Possum "Which one of you is Dolittle?"

The voice of Issac Hayes, ladies and gentlemen.

Possum "I have amessage from the boss."

Possum  " ...the boss.  The Godbeaver.  Now save the questions and come with me."

Possum "I can't tell him that, I'll end up sleeping with the fishes."

Possum "Is there a car named after me?"

Possum "Nope, never heard of it."

Left Bears "Lookey here... What's the matter boy couldn't make it on the outside."

Right bear dialogue "Don't like to hunt, don't like to fish... do you know what I would give to be out there in the forest?"

Left Bear  'Ohhh, do I hear someone talking?  See thats the problem with kids today, no respect. Kid thinks he knows my life."

Right bear dialogue "I'm gonna give him a bear hug, get over here and let me give you a big bear hug.  Get on over here tiny."

Right bear dialogue "I think he needs to teach us a lesson" 

"Her name was Lola.  She was a show girl.  With feathers in her hair and her dress cut down to there."

This is one of the rare occurances where d.a.m. working in conjunction wtih R&H to complete a shot.  They were in charge of animating the "hero" bear Archie and comping both he and Eddie Murphey into the scene.  These were the elements we sent to them.  They did a split, removing the wrangler and placing Archie in his stead.

Wolf growls

This shot was originally described to us by R&H ended up being totally revamped.  They ultimately ended up using a previous plate from an entirely different sequence and as a result is not in the film. 

WS Lucky, male & female wolf. "Hey, wait a minute"

Close up- Wolf.  "What do you think you're doing?"

CU male wolf. "You marked my tree"

Male wolf to Lucky.  "You call that a scent... smells like lemonaid"

Deer "He broke her."

Archie : Hey, hey, baby..."

Archie's Dialogue,  "You're looking mighty fine.  Why don't you come over here and plant some of that sugar on me, on archie, Trrruuuulllleeeyyy...  Is that our song???  Ha ha"

Down angle Ava looks up. "Hey whats wrong with your voice"

Archie's Dialogue "Well if you want it you got it"
 

Ava's Dialogue "Please don't even think about it, that's not even funny"

Archie's Dialogue "No, I'm going to go get it for you.."

Ava's Dialogue "Archie, I'm serious..don't, it's dangerous... promise me."

Archie's Dialogue "Okay, I like you Ava."

Ava's Dialogue "I like you too, Archie."

Sonny's Dialogue "...circus boy."

Sonny's Dialoge, "Oh, you keep your yap shut"
Archie's Dialogue "Ha, your charm is matched only by your odor.."
Sonny's Dialogue "And what does that mean?"

Archie's Dialogue, "Oh that just means you're a malordorous ignoramous..."

Sonny's Dialogue, "What is he saying... I'm confused and I don't like being confused"

Ava's Dialogue "Yea, he really doesn't."

Archie's Dialogue "Really, well you think that he'd get used to it huh..."

Archie's Dialogue, "...don't go.  Look maybe you can do better than me but don't do worse"

Archie's Dialogue, "City bear... great."

Possum "That bear is one bad mother."

The monkey ridicules Dr. Dolittle. "Oh please what have you been drinking"
 

Do to the director/studio/supervisor/producers/R&H's aversion to this entire shot the entire shot except for the original plates "plghpbtttttt"  tongue razzie none of this shot is in the film.  I belive it is in the International cut but not the domestic US release.

Wolf "Hasta la vista baby"

Anna Bell Cow "Strike, strike, strike.."

Horse "Don't even think about reaching for that whip shorty."

Shamu dialog, "Naw, I don't feel like jumping thru any hoops today...any of you guys?"

Monkey "Viva la bear, viva la Archie, viva la Doctor...hiccup."
 

This was another occurance where d.a.m. and R&H shared the final shot.  We animated the monkey talking and due the the creatures aversion to popping champagne bottles, R&H animated the cork and champagne gushing from the bottle.

Monkey "Of course, I see both of you."

These shots were actually used in the ending credits sequence in the movie.

Monkey "There's a place in France where the naked monkies dance... "
