GodzillaMay 19, 1998After the unfortunate and devistating wake of Titanic, Digital Domain went through a very volatile time of change resulting in the eventual implosion and fragmentation of one of the greatest families I've ever has the privledge of being a part of. In a matter of moments DD layed off a large number (50+) of artists that had poured their hearts and souls into creating one of the premiere visual effects houses in LA. Lesson learned. What you give isn't neccessarily what you get. But enough ranting. Karen Gouleakas, quite possibly one of the best Visual Effects Supervisors that I've ever had the opportunity to work for, attached herself to this project after a year or so of R&D. |
